purposes of any legal proceedings within Niue the court shall be}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 deemed to have been properly constituted, and its proceedings shall}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 
be deemed to have been regularly conducted, and the sentence shall}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 be deemed to be within the jurisdiction of the court and under the}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861

\par }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 (1) The forces to which this section applies are such of the naval, military,}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 and air forces of any part of the Commonwealth as Cabinet may by regulation}{

\par }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 (2) Subject to this section, the law in force in Niue relating to the}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 apprehension of deserters and absentees without leave from a home force shall}{
\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 within Niue apply in relation to a deserter or an absentee without leave from any}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 f
orce to which this section applies (including any member of a reserve or auxiliary}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 force who, having failed to obey a notice calling upon him to appear at any place}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{
\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 for service, is by the law of that part of the Commonwealth to which the force}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 belongs, liable to the same punishment as a deserter, or to the same punishment}{
\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 as an absentee without leave), as they apply in relation to a deserter or absentee}{\f0\insrsid4986249  }{\f0\insrsid7406298\charrsid14157861 without leave from a home force.
