AN ACT

TO AMEND THE FIJI DEVELOPMENT BANK ACT 1966

ENACTED by the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji—

1. Short title and commencement

(1) This Act may be cited as the Fiji Development Bank (Amendment) Act 2022.

(2) This Act comes into force on a date appointed by the Minister by notice in the Gazette.

(3) In this Act, the Fiji Development Bank Act 1966 is referred to as the “Principal Act”.

2. Sections 7 and 17 amended

Sections 7 and 17 of the Principal Act are amended by deleting “servants” wherever it appears and substituting “employees”.

3. Section 39 amended

Section 39 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting “servant” and substituting “employee”.

Passed by the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji this 1st day of September 2022.
