CUSTOMS TARIFF ACT (BUDGET AMENDMENT) LAW 2007

(INTERIM GOVERNMENT PROMULGATION NO. 6)

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon the Interim Government by virtue of the Interim Government Promulgation 2006;

AND UPON the exercise of my own deliberative judgement as President of the Republic of the Fiji Islands as to what is best and good for the beloved peoples of the Fiji Islands;

AND UPON the exercise of the executive authority of the State in accordance with Section 85 of the Constitution, notwithstanding the powers of Parliament under the Constitution to make laws under the current political situation of our beloved nation;

I, Josefa Iloilovatu Uluivuda, on the advice of the Cabinet, promulgate this Law-

TO AMEND THE CUSTOMS TARIFF ACT

Share Title and Commencement

1.-(1) This Law may be cited as the Customs Tariff Act (Amendment) Law 2007, and is deemed to have come into force on 3rd November 2006.

Schedule 2 repealed and replaced

2. The Customs Tariff Act 1986 is amended by repealing Schedule 2 and Substituting the following Schedule, set out in this Law-
