COMMERCE ACT (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2010
(DECREE No. 15 of 2010)


IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President of the Republic of Fiji and the Commander in Chief of the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces by virtue of the Executive Authority Decree 2009, I hereby make the following Decree:


Short title and commencement


1. This Decree may be cited as the Commerce Act (Ports Amendment) Decree 2010 and shall be deemed to come into force on the date it is gazetted.


Section 3 amended


2. Section 3 of the Commerce Act 1998 is amended by inserting a new definition after the definition of "member" -


"port" means a natural or artificial harbor and its terminal facilities for the transfer of goods and passengers to or from waterborne means of transport which can be used by members of the public upon payment of a fee and includes marina management services offered at a port's marina."
