VALUE ADDED TAX (AMENDMENT) ACT
NO. 24 OF 1998

An Act to amend the Value Added Tax Act No. 12 of 1998.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

AMENDMENT OF THE FIRST SCHEDULE

1. Item 8 of the First Schedule to the Value Added Tax Act No. 12 of 1998 is amended by deleting “31 December 1998” and substituting “31 December 1999”.

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act commences on the 1^st day of January l999.
