ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT (AMENDENT) ACT
No. 22 Of 2012

An Act to amend the Public Finance and Economic Management Act [CAP 244].
Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1. Amendment
   

The Public Finance and Economic Management Act [CAP 244] is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2. Commencement
   

This Act commences on the day on which it is published in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE
AMENDMENTS OF PUBLIC FINANCE AND ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT ACT [CAP 244]

1 Paragraph 54(2)(g)

Delete “;”, substitute “.”

2 Paragraph 54(2)(h)

Repeal the paragraph.

3 After subsection 54(3)

Insert

“(3A) The Minister is to provide a full report of the details and reasons for the loan and securities at the next sitting of Parliament after raising a loan.”
