REPUBLIC OF VANUATU

BETTING (CONTROL) (AMENDMENT) ACT

NO. 4 OF 2000

An Act to amend the Betting (Control) Act No. 1 of 1993 (“the Principal Act”).

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 13

1. Section 13 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting "VT 500,000" from subsection (1) and substituting "VT 6,300,000".

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 31

2. Section 31 of the Principal Act is amended by deleting "VT 500,000" from subsection (1) and substituting "VT 6,300,000".

COMMENCEMENT

3. This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 January 2000.
