TELECOMMUNICATIONS (PROHIBITION OF IMPORT

OF TELEVISION AERIAL) RULES


Published Gazette No. 23 of 1992


1. Import of television aerials into Vanuatu prohibited
(1) No person, other than the Department of Media Services, shall import into Vanuatu any domestic television receiving aerials for the use or intended use in any house, building or home in Vanuatu.


(2) In this rule, “domestic television receiving aerials” means:


(a) the antenna;


(b) the mounting hardware;


(c) the feeder (either co-axial or ribbon)


the wall socket; and


(e) the fly lead from the wall socket to the television set.
