LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONSTITUENCIES


Order 19 of 2000


1. Constituencies in Tafea Region
For the purposes of the election of members to the Tafea Local Government Council, the Tafea Local Government Region is divided into 5 constituencies, the names and boundaries of which are set out in Part A of the Schedule together with the number of elected members for the Tafea Local Government Region.


2. Constituencies in Shefa Region
For the purposes of the election of members to the Shefa Local Government Council, the Shefa Local Government Region is divided into 9 constituencies, the names and boundaries of which are set out in Part B of the Schedule together with the number of elected members for the Shefa Local Government Region.


3. Constituencies in Malampa Region
For the purposes of the election of members to the Malampa Local Government Council, the Malampa Local Government Region is divided into 3 constituencies, the names and boundaries of which are set out in Part C of the Schedule together with the number of elected members for the Malampa Local Government Region.

4. Constituencies in Penama Region
For the purposes of the election of members to the Penama Local Government Council, the Penama Local Government Region shall be divided into 3 constituencies, the names and boundaries of which are set out in Part D of the Schedule together with the number of elected members for the Penama Local Government Region.


5. Constituencies in Sanma Region
For the purposes of the election of members to the Sanma Local Government Council, the Sanma Local Government Region shall be divided into 2 constituencies, the names and boundaries of which are set out in Part E of the Schedule together with the number of elected members for the Sanma Local Government Region.


6. Constituencies in Torba Region
For the purposes of the election of members to the Torba Local Government Council, the Torba Local Government Region shall be divided into 7 constituencies, the names and boundaries of which are set out in Part F of the Schedule together with the number of elected members for the Torba Local Government Region.
