An Act

entitled

Motor Car Dealers (Amendment) Act 2016,

Being an Act to amend the Motor Car Dealers Act (Chapter 353) to remove fees and charges powers, and for related purposes,

MADE by the National Parliament to come into operation in accordance with a notice in the National Gazette by the Head of State, acting with, and in accordance with, the advice of the Minister.

1. ANNUAL FEES (AMENDMENT TO SECTION 8).

Section 8 of the Principal Act is amended by repealing Subsection (1) and replacing it with the following new subsection:

"(1) Subject to this section, fees payable under this Act shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of the Public Finance (Management) Act 1995.".

2. CONTINUANCE OF FORMER ACTS, ETC.

All acts, matters or things done or suffered or deemed to have been done or suffered or taken, or procedural steps taken under or for the purposes of the Principal Act and having effect immediately before the coming into operation of this Act, shall, after that coming into operation, continue in full force and effect until those acts, matters, things or procedural steps are otherwise replaced.
