ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS.

1. New Part IVA.

"PART IVA. - OFFICE OF HIGHER EDUCATION, ETC.,".

2. Functions in relation to Office of Higher Education (Amendment of Section 18).

AN ACT

entitled

Higher Education (Amendment) Act 1995,

Being an Act to amend the Higher Education Act (Chapter 397),

MADE by the National Parliament.

1. NEW PART IVA.

The Principle Act is amended by inserting after Section 17 the following new heading:-

"PART IVA. - OFFICE OF HIGHER EDUCATION, ETC.,".

2. FUNCTIONS IN RELATION TO OFFICE OF HIGHER EDUCATION (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 18).

Section 18 of the Principal Act is amended -

(a) in the heading, by repealing the words "Functions in relation to"; and
(b) in Subsection (4) by repealing the words "the Chairman" and replacing them with the following:-

• "the Departmental Head of the Department responsible for education matters".
