An Act

entitled

Employment of Non-Citizens (Amendment) Act 2016,

Being an Act to amend the Employment of Non-Citizens Act 2007 to remove fees and charges powers, and for related purposes,

MADE by the National Parliament to come into operation in accordance with a notice in the National Gazette by the Head of State, acting with, and in accordance with, the advice of the Minister.

1. APPLICATION MADE IN PRESCRIBED MANNER (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 20).

Section 20 of the Principal Act is amended in Subsection (1), Paragraph (e), by deleting the word "prescribed".

2. APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 25).

Section 25 of the Principal Act is amended in Subsection (1), Paragraph (e), by deleting the word "prescribed".

3. REVOCATION AND VARIATION OF CONDITIONS, ETC., (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 33).

Section 33 of the Principal Act is amended in Subsection (5), Paragraph (c), by deleting the word "prescribed".

4. REGULATION (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 61).

Section 61 of the Principal Act is amended by repealing Paragraph (a).

5. CONTINUANCE OF FORMER ACTS, ETC.

All acts, matters or things done or suffered or deemed to have been done or suffered or taken, or procedural steps taken under or for the purposes of the Principal Act and having effect immediately before the coming into operation of this Act, shall, after that coming into operation, continue in full force and effect until those acts, matters, things or procedural steps are otherwise replaced.
