AN ACT

entitled

Audit (Amendment) Act 2015,

Being an Act to amend the Audit Act 1989 to provide for Kumul Minerals Company and Kumul Petroleum Company and for related purposes,

MADE by the National Parliament.

INTERPRETATION (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 1).

Section 1 of the Principal Act is amended by repealing the definition of "Government-owned company" and replacing it with the following:

"Government-owned company" means a company incorporated under the Companies Act 1997, a majority of the shares in which are held by or on behalf of the State, but does not include any Kumul Petroleum Company as that term is defined in Section 2 of the Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited Authorisation Act 2015 or any Kumul Minerals Company as that term is defined in Section 2 of the Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited Authorisation Act 2015;".
