Gibbons v Owang Lineage [1976] TTLawRp 32; 7 TTR 441 (11 November 1976)

7 TTR 441

UCHELIEI GIBBONS,
Appellant

v.

OWANG LINEAGE, et al.,
Appellees

Civil Appeal No. 39
Appellate Division of the High Court
Palau District

November 11, 1976

HEFNER, Acting Chief Justice; WILLIAMS, Associate Justice

On May 22, 1970, the Appellate Division modified in part and affirmed in part the Judgment of the trial court. Although only two Justices signed the Opinion, this is sufficient. Guerrero v. Micronesian Line, Inc., 5 TTR 531 (App. Div. 1971).

On or about June 16, 1970 the appellee moved for a rehearing on ten grounds.

Although the Court rules of the Trust Territory do not provide for a rehearing, the motion of the appellee has been reviewed.

The ten grounds urged by the appellee are principally nothing more than a reargument of the case and, the opinion of the appellate court on May 22, 1970 adequately sets forth the reasons for its opinion.

The motion for rehearing is denied.
