AN ACT

To amend the Banking Act 1975.

(Certified: 22nd September, 1975).

Enacted by the Parliament of Nauru as follows:

SHORT TITLE

1. This Act may be cited as the Banking (Amendment) Act 1975.

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventy-five.

THE PRINCIPAL ACT

3. In this Act "the principal Act" means the Banking Act 1975.

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 1 OF THE PRINCIPAL ACT

4. Section 1 of the principal Act is repealed and replaced by the following new section 1-

"SHORT TITLE

1. This Act may be cited as the Banking Act 1975."

COMMENCEMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL ACT

5. The principal Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventy-five.
