JUDICIAL COMPENSATION (COMMUNITY COURT AMENDMENT) ACT 2013
AN ACT
To amend Section 403 of the Judicial Compensation Act 1983, 27 MIRC Chapter 4, to increase the annual salary of a Community Court judge from $2,400 to $3,000.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE NITLIELA OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS:
Section 1. Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Judicial Compensation (Community Court Amendment) Act, 2013.
Section 2. Amendment.
Section 403 of the Judicial Compensation Act 1983, 27 MIRC Chapter 4, is amended to read as follows:
§403. Compensation of judges of the Community Courts.
The annual salary of a judge of the Community Court is $3,000.
Section 2. Effective Date.
This Act shall take effect on October 1, 2013, in accordance with Article IV, Section 21(4) of the Constitution.
