LIQUOR ORDINANCE (CAP 50)
(SECTION 86)

Closure of all Licensed Premises
(South Tarawa and Betio) Order 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 86 of the Liquor Ordinance (Cap.50), I hereby make the following Order.

1. Short title

This Order may be cited as the Closure of Licensed Premises (South Tarawa and Betio) Order 2001.

2. Commencement

This Order shall come into operation on Thursday the 13th December 2001.

3. Interpretation

In this Order, "licensed premises", has the same meaning given to it in the Liquor Ordinance.

4. Closure of Licensed premises

All licensed premises on South Tarawa and Betio shall on the commencement of this Order be closed at 12 o'clock midnight every day of the week from Monday to Sunday.
