GILBERT AND ELLICE (UNION GROUP) REGULATION 1909
No. 7 of 1909

KING'S REGULATION

TO EXTEND THE OPERATION OF CERTAIN REGULATIONS
TO THE UNION OR TOKELAU GROUP OF ISLANDS.

Made by His Britannic Majesty's High Commissioner for the Western Pacific under the provisions of the Pacific Order in Council, 1893.

In the name of His Majesty, EDWARD VII., of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and of the British Dominions beyond the Seas King, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India.

WHEREAS it is expedient that the operation of Regulations made by the High Commissioner for the Western Pacific under the provisions of the Pacific Order in Council, 1893 be extended to the group of islands known as the Union or Tokelau Islands :-

Short title.
1. This Regulation may be cited as the Gilbert and Ellice (Union Group) Regulation, 1909.

Existing Regulations applicable to Union Group.
Schedule
2. The provisions of the Regulations set forth in the Schedule hereto are hereby extended to the group of islands known as the Union or Tokelau Islands.

Future Regulations.
3. In any future Regulation the term "Gilbert and Ellice Islands Protectorate" or other term or expression signifying that Protectorate shall, for the purposes of that Regulation and unless it be otherwise provided, be held to include the aforesaid Union or Tokelau Islands.

No. 3 of 1908. The Gilbert and EIlice Islands Protectorate (Consolidation) Regulation, 1908.

No. 3 of 1909. The (Merchant Shipping) Fees Regulation, 1909.

No. 5 of 1909. The Distillation (Prohibition) Regulation, 1909.

No. 6 of 1909. The Gilbert and Ellice (Quarantine) Regulation, 1909.
