AN ACT

TO AMEND THE MARITIME TRANSPORT ACT 2013

ENACTED by the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji—

Short title and commencement

1.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Maritime Transport (Amendment) Act 2019.

(2) This Act comes into force on a date appointed by the Minister by notice in the Gazette.

Section 111 amended

2. Section 111 of the Maritime Transport Act 2013 is amended by deleting "one year" and substituting "20 years".

Passed by the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji this 8th day of August 2019.
