AN ACT

TO AMEND THE JUDGES' REMUNERATION AND EMOLUMENTS ACT

(1 January 1993)

ENACTED by the Parliament of Fiji

Short title and commencement

1. This Act may be cited as the Judge's Remuneration and Emoluments (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1993 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January 1993.

Interpretation

2. In this Act, the Judges' Remuneration and Emoluments Act is referred to as "the Act".

Section 2 amended

3. Subsection (3) of Section 2 of the Act as amended by the Judges' Remuneration and Emoluments (Amendment) Decree, 1988 is repealed and replaced by the following subsection:

"(3) A non-resident Judge of the Court of Appeal shall be paid a per diem of $340.00 when so engaged in any session of the Court of Appeal."
