AN ACT

TO APPROPRIATE A SUM NOT EXCEEDING $524,144 TO THE SERVICE OF THE PARLIAMENT FOR 1997 IN ADDITION TO THE SUMS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR THAT YEAR

ENACTED by the Parliament of the Fiji Islands-

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the 1997 Supplementary Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1998.

Supplementary Appropriation of $524,144

2.-(1) There may be issued from the Consolidated Fund, and applied to the service of the Parliament for the year ending 31st December 1997, a sum not exceeding Five Hundred and Twenty Four Thousand One Hundred and Forty Four dollars, in addition to the sums previously appropriated for such period.

(2) The sum mentioned in subsection (1) is appropriated for the purpose specified in the Schedule.
